Hyperlinked!

WOW!!! I have to say I am humbled to be linked from www.crochetpatterncentral.com !! I had only just started this little blog, and still feel like I am so new at crocheting!

I really just love crocheting and I am such a pattern junkie! I spend more time reading and looking pattern than I do crocheting... *blushes*. I just hope to share what I LOVE doing with someone else who LOVES what they are doing!

Cream Filled Cookie

Cream Filled Cookie ... Just like an Oreo!

black and white worsted weight yarn
F hook
Stitch marker

In this unique pattern you work some of the pattern in the round, and some in "rows"

Chocolate Cookie (make two)
Ch 2, 6 sc in second ch from hk, place marker
R1 2sc in each st around, place marker
R2 *2sc in next st, sc * *around    sl st to sc that has marker, ch 1
R3 sc around, sl to top of ch1, fasten off

Cream Filling (make one)
Ch 2, 6 sc in second ch from hk, place marker
R1 2 sc in each st around   sl st to sc that has marker, ch1
R2 sc around, sl to top of ch 1

Weave in all loose ends

To sew together, place cream in between the chocolate cookies, with the chocolate cookie's wrong sides facing eachother (towards the cream). Use a piece of black yarn to sew all three pieces together, and done!

Original Pattern - Pet Rug

 Pet Rug

I made this for my cat, I really didn't know if he would use it because he trutly believes he is human and doesn't need silly pet toys or paraphernalia. However, he loves it!

I used worsted weight yarn, 2 strands held together to make it thick enough I used a K hook as well.

Make a magic ring, and crochet 10 sc inside of it.

R1 ch1 2sc ,* sc, 2sc * *around* and join with a sl to the first sc.

Every row after this just copy R1, except each row add 1 more sc in between your stitches with 2sc's...so row 2 looks like this:

R2 ch1 2c,* sc, sc, 2sc* *around* and join with a sl to the first sc.

Any questions? Just ask!

Keep going until it is big enough for your pet. My cat is a big boy, and his rug is 16" in diameter.

White Toddler Shawl

White Toddler Shawl.

This pattern is from http://www.luv2crochet.com! I just made it a few weeks ago, it is incredibly quick, easy, sweat and easy to create all sizes in! I made it to use as dress up clothing. It fits well for a 16-36 mo old.

Peachy Infant Sweater 3-6 mo

To start out I figured I would share a few recent items I made. I had to wipe my hard drive recently, so I am slowly assembling my links. These patterns I use were free and pretty popular online so as soon I find the author again, I'll be sure to add credit!

The first one is a sweat pink infant sweater in 3-6 months size. It's made with Carron Simply Soft and I added a decorative butterfly button to the left shoulder.

And here is a close up :
